Roasted Peeps and low productivity.
We had a baby shower for a coworker today; I got pretty hyper and excited and ate a cupcake with 1/4 cup of blue-tinted cream cheese icing and its Peep topper. Then I confused everyone with my hyper CSI-influenced interpretation of a story about Teletubbies at our old store. Just now, an hour after the shower ended, our controller and production business manager and individual giving manager microwaved a Peep. I watched; unfortunately I do not know where the camera is and could not document the destruction. However, I can tell you that it swelled and swelled then started smoking by about 55 seconds; it completely flattened as soon as the microwave stopped. -- I just walked around the office to get the camera, and witnessed the hard, flat Peep remnant. It's strangely appealing.
We gave the expecting mom a blanket we knitted and I pieced together. It's really, really soft and sweet.
I've gotten a tiny bit of work done today, but for the most part, today is for whatever reason pretty much totally shot, which would be why I'm here posting again. And I'm off Friday so tomorrow? WORK WORK WORK. And in the evening, Staff Pledge Night which means watch for me on the air!
