Confidential to Seattle dinner folks: I have a good little list of mid-range to cheap restaurants that are a lot more local and maybe more fun for Friday night--will post asap but have ridiculous # of meetings today. Whether or not I can attend dinner may still depend on whether or not our rent refund check arrives today or tomorrow (I have to run some numbers, as they say). I have a few brunch ideas on Queen Anne in addition to the 5 Spot but gotta say, I always love the 5 Spot.
