The Frank/Bull one is GREAT - he's a character often overlooked in the BoB fandom, and this just endears him even more. I'm just loving the cosmic connection thing you guys have established. So cool.
And tipsy Charlie... guh. and he's still grinning, and he looks so fucking happy that Matt has to step away before he does obscene and maybe illegal things to him in front of the entire restaurant.

I love Frank, and Bull. He, didn't seem to have as much an influence in the BoB world, but he was there, BUT as Frank he plays a pretty big part :D I LOVE Frank. If not for Matt and Charlie, it would be all about Frank. And the cosmic connection thing is actually integral to the whole Matt and Charlie thing, so... YAY.

It's just logical, with the whole Buddhist aesthetic on Life. Finally, a fandom in which reincarnation is canon! I love it, gawd.
...plus, like, and this might be kind of shallow of me, but Charlie gets to get drunk. Do you guys find it hard to find common ground between him and Winters?

Hee. Also, Charlie and fitional!Winters are different people with different life experiences, so we aren't so much looking for common ground between the two characters. It's more...that is who he was. And this is who he is. And sometimes they remember that, or have a shadow memory of that, and if Charlie has an instinct about how to handle a weapon, or prefers the heat of LA over a cooler climate, or recognises something in Matt when he hasn't ever met him, well. Maybe it's a memory, or a cosmic connection.
Also, awesome to see a new face around. Welcome! And feel free to jump in and contribute, and ask if you need anything :)

OKAY. That makes sense. The idea is so cool, it kinda give me chills. What a fun take on crossovers :) It's sort of a weird story how I found you guys... I contacted omphale23 about an idea I've been kicking around for starting a new BoB comm, and she mentioned that she mods this, so... voila. Thanks for the welcome - I'm going to have to watch more Standoff first, but I can see this ship becoming a bit of an obsession ^_^

I think it started actually with a fic that mardia wrote, and O was all, I WOULD DO A VID TO CROSS THEM BUT WOE and I was all I can help you with that, but actually I couldn't so I did the first vid, and Om wrote, and kept writing....and kept writing, and four vids and more on the way later, I think she is almost done writing it? So as far as obsessions go, yeah. It eats your brain. I was firmly entrenched in the SGA fandom, myself, with leanings to Smallville, and now? It's all about Matt and Charlie.

Hee, I was in Smallville for the first 3 seasons or so. I actually wrote more Chloe/Lana than anything XD But for the past 2 and a half years or so it's been all Band of Brothers. But clearly, anything Ron/Damien is very very good.
