abby especially seems so grown up. i'm not sure why that is - if it's something we're doing... she's always been sort of serious and TALL. she's only 8 and looks at least 11. i'm relieved that she doesn't seem to be on a fast track to becoming a sexualized teen, but in pretty much every other way she is too big for her britches.
in general, i think both of them are pretty awesome.
