I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink. I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink?
Another terrible night's sleep. Pretty sure it's too much caffeine - yesterday was a two coffee day, which is verging on fatal overdose levels for my delicate constitution. Tut tut! I'm so tired today it is palpable. My heart feels heavy, my brain is lagging and everything aches a deep, cold, almost metallic ache. The sort of tired that feels like it has its own gravitational pull, sucking the energy out of everything around it.
I did make it out of bed to have some breakfast but 100mg of tapentadol saw me straight back from whence I came. It's not so bad though. I've got the windows open so I can hear the birds chiming their industrious song and the faint hollering of people enjoying their Sunday leisure. And thanks to the power of the Internet and my dexterous index finger I've been able to do my weekly shop.
I did promise my friend, Stewart, that I'd send him so energetic thoughts through the ether to him today as he is taking part in a mini triathlon. I don't think he'd want my energy today all things considered so he'll have to settle for 'good luck Stewart!' instead. He should be starting around now I think so this will be well timed.
