LJ Reunion

Jan 28, 2012 19:59

I've had this idea for a while but never did anything about it--until now. If you happen to read this, tell me something here. What has changed. What is new. Anything. LJ used to be kinda important, sorta. So let's have one more party here.

Now let's see if this works at all.

Well, ya got me. At first, I was scared to log in thinking this was some kind of scam/phishing/hack job. Then I thought...ah, what the hell. I'm actually shocked that my page with the cute little black and white photo still exists!
Now that I'm married and a mother...I think my blogging would sound a little different if I was to do this again. In fact, it would be a whole lot different....hilariously different.
Thanks for inviting me back though! I can't wait to read all my back entries and feel stupid about my former self.. :-)

Yay! Paaaaaartayyyyyy!
Yup I'm not a Russian trying to steal your money. And I hear ya. My blog would be about my kid, wife and establishing a livelihood through Chinese language. Are you still in GR? Do you ever go out? Since coming back, I went to one LSDudes show and one Retro D'luxe night. Anway, I guess "sh..it's time for bed" is a more literal phrase now.

Yes...it was a little foreshadowing into my future! :-) I rarely go out...mostly because the people I would go out with are almost all mothers and coordinating days we can hang is really hard! I get my fair share of socializing though..having people over, going to people's houses, playdates, craft nights, etc. I see Nina and her adorable little daughter Adele whenever I can. Quite honestly, I sometimes want to go out but have a hard time hanging out that late! I don't like feeling terrible while taking care of my son...and just cause I get the chance to go out doesn't mean anyone will get up with him in the morning so I can sleep off that hangover..haha.

So how old is your daughter now? Is she getting into the realm of playdates??

Okay, we are demonstrating now just how times have changed. Sophia is 15 months old now. We don't specifically go on playdates, but we have some mixed Chinese couple friends who have young children. When we hang out, Sophia will try to play with them. I say try because she wants to play with other kids but she doesn't quite know what to do with them yet. How old is your son? What's his name?

His name is Cohen and he is two and a half. :-) If you want to do a park playdate sometime this spring/summer--let me know! We love playdates! :-)

Yeah! Sounds great! I'll remind you later, either by facebook message or just possibly through LJ.

Cool! Maybe if we are really lucky we can get Adele there too! They are a bit closer in age so it would be cool if they could meet. :-)
