Well, it's Sunday. As for those essays, I've got about a page and a half written on one of them and have started a little bit on another one. Senioritis is wretched, especially when you're just a junior. I just don't CARE. They're even interesting topics for the most part, but we already discussed them some in class and I feel like we basically settled the issues. But oh well. I just wish I were good at getting started on something and being able to work on it just as well ahead of time as I am when I start something at 11 the night before it's due.
I was in a really productive mood yesterday too. I got all of my laundry done (though not quite put away) and did a bunch of other things and sat at my computer trying to write, but didn't have much luck. SOOOO in other words, if I didn't have these essays, I could have been catching up on the two weeks of reading that I'm behind on. :-D
Oh yeah, and Matt called last night at 12:30, after I'd been asleep for 45 minutes. It was kinda funny - I pick up my phone and I'm like "hello?" He and his parents (they're out visiting him, darn them) were supposed to have gone to a movie but ended up going to the Hollywood AMC theater instead of the Beverly Hills theater and there wasn't any way they would have made it on time... they were just walking around or something for a little while and he decided to give me a call. I wasn't expecting him to call because the movie was supposed to start at midnight my time and it wouldn't have been over until at least 1:30, probably closer to 2:00, so he wasn't supposed to have called again (normally, when I go to bed and we haven't gotten to talk that night, I'll call and leave him a voicemail and tell him that I have to go to sleep, love you, typical sappy stuff ;-)) but we had already said goodnight and stuff so I didn't expect him to call. I wake up and I'm trying to process "hello?" "Hey Kel" "What's going on?" "Well, we missed the movie, so I thought I'd call" "oh, ok, hang on" (I had to get out of my room so that I wouldn't wake my roommate). He talks for a few minutes, then he's like "what have you been up to?" "sleeping." "Oh, did I wake you up?" (Did I sound that bright and cheery when he called? Yay for me! ;-)) "yeah" "oh, well then I guess you should go back to sleep!" "I guess."
Yeah, it was funny. Later on I dreamed that he called me at 6:30 my time (3:30 PST) to apologize for waking me up. Grrrrr. ;-)
OK, I'm going to go clean up and maybe grab some instant oatmeal for breakfast and TRY to get these essays done... enter frustration. *sigh*
