(no subject)
Oh my goodness, it has been a long time since i've updated in here. There has been too much going on in my life- at least nothing exciting. Lots of work (school, lawfirm, the council) lots of sorority stuff... and of course lots of fun. This whole being 21 is amazing, but my grades, focus and bank account have taken a major hit.
I've also recently reverted back to freshman year antics and drunk dialing... that's not a good sign. My apologies to anyone who has gotten one recently.
Had an extremely awesome weekend. Thursday, almost eveyrone from the junior class, plus Molly Lipsitz, went to 1800. apparently they do karaoke on thursdays at 1800??? which was hillarious, considering we were all drunk by the time we got there. everyone had a blast, and we had a giant drunk cracker fight in our kitchen which ended in a huge mess that none of us cleaned up.... not so good.
Friday was not quite as interesting, although there are defintiely some amusing stories.
Saturday was a lot more fun. It was a "girls night out" with Frenchy, Koches, and her younger sister Sam. We went down to Lincoln Park, had an amazing tapas dinner, then went to Cherry Red... I think/guess it's a depaul bar, but it was pretty fun- we went cause we heard they are easy on IDs and Sam is only 18, so we needed to pass her for 24... which worked. Once we were inside, we realized that the four of us combined only had enough cash to buy one round of drinks. not good.
so our first mission was to find boys to buy us drinks, which was difficult to do without having really boring convos with them first, but we eventually found three guys that were just right. ha. kind of.
Mine was a stock analyst. Koches' was a firefighter. and Frenchy's was an electrical engineer... ha. and he wore a sweater vest to the bar!
It was a super fun night, ending in them driving us all the way back up to evanston from lincoln park, whihc otherwise would have been about a $30 cab ride- so that was wonderful.
all in all- a good weekend.
