Day 04: Your Favorite Male Third Wheel Character
Seo Sung-joon - Smile, You
The truth is that I don't really have a favorite secondary male character. I've enjoyed some (Han-sung, Coffee Prince) and thought others were interesting characters (Ho-gae, Legend). But most of the time I'm super bored by them (Ki-Joong, Dal-ja's Spring) or supremely annoyed (Yul, Goong). I have yet to come across that third wheel that made me question the OTP in a kdrama.
But Sung-joon is a very fun character and he helped make the middle stretch of Smile, You, with it's scheming parents and never-ending episode count more tolerable. He was great comic relief and had an adorable little love story of his own.
Even cuter? Lee Chun-hee married his co-star. How sweet is that?
