Dolittle... more like DoNOTHING (oh I slay me)
So, instead of posting on a genuinely excellent drama (Joseon X-Files - I just watched episodes 7 and 8 last night and WOW. That was some excellent television right there. This show is just really fantastic from the stories to the camera work. It's more like a movie than a drama), I'm going to post some random screenshots from Jyuui Dolittle, which is.... not an excellent drama.
They do take their hamster health VERY SERIOUSLY though.
I tried to get a screenshot of the wall of hamster x-rays the (evil) vets with their fancy-schmancy machinery were looking at because l.o.l., but it moved too fast. They gave the poor little hamster a hysterectomy and then another bonus surgery for some uterine-lining infection. Of course, they were doing it for the wrong reasons since the main (evil) vet just wanted to get on the good side of the Minister of Agriculture (WHO DOESN'T, THOUGH). They had to go to Tottori anyway, since he's the best, obviously (even with his old lady glasses, awful personality, and habit of completely fleecing anyone that comes into his practice).
I thought it was hilarious that they turned their noses up at his offices, because I really don't see anything wrong with them. Other than he has some random girl with no experience helping him in surgery. But this is a jdrama, so I really need to leave the concept of reality at the door.
It was also pretty funny when the dad of a girl with a sick ferret came to the vet for some late night parenting advice. Though, I don't think it was supposed to be funny. The vet was Narimiya Hiroki, though, so I might have done the same.
