tea and blood - English Vampires?

I hate when I forget to bring new tea to the office. Because then I have to result to the instant tea selection in the break room, which would be fine if it didn't taste like ASS. I'm not really picky about tea, I like green, chamomile, and mint tea, and can't stand fruit tea. But the stuff in the break room marked "Green Tea" tastes like it's been steeping for five hours and then burned. It's nasty. But I have to drink something because I have all this crap running down the back of my throat.

Watched the Ashes to Ashes finale. PLEASE tell me someone else on my flist will talk to me about this. This season was fantastic and that ending was awesome. Really looking forward to the next season.

True Blood is back and JUST AS AMAZING as I remember it being. My favorite part, besides Lafayette BEING ALIVE, is Bill's new surly teenage vampire daughter. Bill, being the old-timey southern gentleman type won't stand for her street walker wear.

Nor will he be pleased if she doesn't seperate the recyclables. Dorky!Bill is my favorite Bill. The rest of the time I find him quite dull, but his interactions with Jessica were my favorite parts of the episode.

Bill is determined to get Jessica to drink TruBlood instead of the real stuff. She thinks it's gross, so they end up doing science experiments to find of what combination of the different types results in less ass-taste.

Sookie isn't too pleased to learn that Bill sired (even though he was forced) a new vampire from a teenager and killed her pedo uncle, but they end up getting it on anyway. Some of the sex scenes are so completely unneccesary and this was one of them. I really don't need to see him biting her mid-coitus and then her own blood ending up in her mouth. There is sexy and that, audience, IS NOT SEXY. But, the show is on HBO so nothing is going to change.

Jason has jumped in with both feet into this Fellowship of the Sun thing. It SCREAMS cult, but Jason has never been the sharpest tool in the shed. He just wants some guidance and they offer that in spades. Plus, it gets him to read which is a good thing, right?

He's also given up sex, we'll see how long that lasts...

Hoyt (who continues to be the adorable woobie that doesn't fit in with the rest of these crazies) wonders what exactly is wrong with their community church.

Jason doesn't have an answer besides scorn for their backwoods church, not that he really knows what the vampire-hating church offers besides Leadership Conferences he has to pay $1200 for.

Our boy is in trouble...

Watched the second episode of Mr. Brain and I didn't love it as much as the first episode. It just kind of fell flat for me. Hiro's character is officially annoying. If you are going to be squeemish at every single freaking crime scene, maybe you shouldn't have become a homicide detective. DUH.

I still really enjoy Kimutaku and Ayase Haruka though. The little b-plot was him teaching her to evolve from 'monkey' to 'assistant', and it was cute. She gets frustrated, and really confused, with him, but he is slowly making her into a stronger and more confident woman (in his own bizarre way).

He still really freaks out all the other scientists though...
