Vanilla cake with amaretto filling, chocolate-almond frosting, and hard sugar decorations. The filling was a little too thin, I think due to the alcohol. The frosting was a little too thick. Still, it went together easily enough, and the candies for decorating turned out just how I wanted them.
I'll call it a success!
