Still no luck on the job front so last week I donned my rubber gloves and with a bucket and mop became the cleaner for my Mum's office haha! I got paid £7 an hour though so not bad.
Wednesday night I met James for Pizza Express apres work, which was very tasty...James was looking tasty and the cajun pizza I had was tasty too! After dinner we had drinks in this cafe and James got this apple juice that was actually the juice of fresh apples..it was weird, but delicious! Got to get some apples and a blender. On the tube on the way home, some 15 year old kid got on, blatantly fucked on beans...which was amusing, and after he got off I started chatting to this woman about it and she was saying 'ah, you kids, you think you're so new in your rebellion, but we were doing things like that in the 70s'...haha, so she told me!
Thursday I went to Wimbledon...we were worried it was going to rain but we had a lucky day of no rain and saw lots of tennis. I had Pimms, which was fitting of the occassion I thought and we dined on a picnic of finger food like Scotch eggs and pork pies. A thoroughly middle class affair.
Yesterday James went to his manager's sixtieth birthday party and I was meant to be meeting him in the centre of London for drinks afterwards. However, the drink at the party was free and free flowing and James was a lot more drunk than I realised when he told me to come out and meet him. When I met him at Tottenham Court Road he tried to persuade this rickshaw driver to rickshaw us all the way to Fabric in Farringdon (but he wouldn't oblige)...then we proceded to just walk round Soho and then James decided he wanted to go home. He wanted to walk but not in the direction of my house so I made him get on a bus. Then we had a take out Pizza Express when we got to the bottom of my road but they let us eat it inside while I finally got to have a glass of wine. We got home and I had to put James to bed. So not really one of the best evenings we have had together...but sort of funny all the same. I was kind of pissed off at the lack of make out though, I got some this morning but trying to sex with parents around is such a nightmare. Ah yes, James has had a new crazy haircut...everyone hates it except me and him. Its shaved at the front and sort of graded up to long at the back. Very trendy. Also he wore a suit jacket with his jeans last night...and looked hot as! James is looking fit at the moment, but my god, don't he know it :p. (not really, he's very modest but I just had to get that quote in).
This afternoon I went to the ballet with my mother...because I'm very cultured. It consisted of 5 modern pieces. The first half was a pretty dark affair...the latter half wasn't so great. A bit hit and miss but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless! We are having curry for dinner with clotted cream and fudge ice cream for pudding. Yay for being home and having nice food!
