When I say Andy, you say C
So Tuesday night I went to see the one like Andy C at the Tuesday Club. I was so excited over the whole event I had butterflies in my stomach all day, because I had not been out dancing to dnb for over a month.
So I went in to uni for my tutorial and my tutor told me I was very behind with my work (although I'm not behind with all the essays and stuff so I'm probably the same place as most people)...but I did not care, for I was seeing Andy C in about 7 hours.
Then I skipped all the way home, to find myself locked out of the house. I began to get concerned that no one would be home for the rest of the evening and I wouldn't be able to get changed for going out but in usual house style, the backdoor was open so I was safe.
Then I got in, made some dinner and got ready for my night out. Mike and Sam came over to pre drink with myself and Pete. And I made everyone listen to the Nightlife CD in preparation and gave some Sophie style top tips on dancing hahahah! By the time we left I had polished off about 4 triple vodkas and I don't remember much of hte journey down. But I didn't drink anymore when we got in so I sobered up pretty quick.
As soon as we got in, Mike was like come on Soph lets go dance...dragged me to the front where I stayed for the whole event haha! I just danced all night and didn't socialise with anyone but it was totally worth it. I had an awesome time. By the time Andy came on I was hyped up hardcore. Everyone in the front was proper going for it...obviously there was minimal space to dance but I battled through. I caught Andy's eye a few times and gave appreciative looks and he smiled back haha! They were filming the entire thing, I think for the dnb arena website, so I will probably have a pretty leading role in the video which I'm dreadfully embarassed about as I'm quite sure I looked like a total twit! At the end I was so overwrought with enjoyment of the whole thing that I nearly started crying as we were waiting outside for everyone hehe! Its been a long time since I've been to such a good night of dnb, I am very happy that I've found something that can make me this happy, regardless of external situations going on in my life....what an inspirational evening I had! Andy is a legend - nuff said :D.
