Good news! My six month contract job has officially turned into a full-time, permanent position. Yay! I really like my job and my co-workers and my boss and everything, so I'm totally happy. And the best part (seriously, the best part) was being able to quit my other job omg. I had been working part-time (basically a few weeks every two months or so) for my old company. After I got this new job I was still working that old job because I figured after my contract was up I didn't want to be completely jobless. And I can't even tell you how stressful it was to do both jobs. It basically meant I was getting 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night, max, plus all the juggling of time and information and workload and just UGH. Total brain overload, like, all the time. I am SO GLAD to be done with it! I can do things now like eat dinner and work out and see my husband. JOY.
Now that I have all this free time I am perusing my Netflix queue, deciding what I want to watch. I am amused at Netflix's recommended categories for me: "Cerebral Thrillers Featuring A Strong Female Lead," "Witty Romantic Period Pieces," and "Cerebral Gay & Lesbian." Hahaha, oh, Netflix. You know me so well. I am actually considering starting to watch White Collar. I keep hearing about how awesome it is so maybe I'll give it a go. I still need to catch up on Merlin and Dexter though--I'm like a season behind on both of them.
Oh, and speaking of TV, I am going to echo
aurora_84 here and say that as much as I love Bones it would be even better with an Angela/Hodgins/Wendell threesome storyline, right? As I watched last week's ep I was hankering for SOMETHING with regard to Wendell and now I know what it is. Because Angela and Hodgins by themselves? Not that interesting. Throw Wendell in and I'm sold!
p.s. T-minus five weeks until the release of
Fast Five. The only movie I've only looked forward to all year! I wonder what Netflix would say about that! Ha.
