Is anyone else watching The Choir on BBC? Or if you're British, have you seen it? They're showing it in the States right now (I think it originally aired in 2006) and it's so much fun. It's about a choirmaster, Gareth, who goes to schools and creates choirs where there have never been ones before. It's kind of like a blue-collar, British Glee. Only without all the crazy people and cheerleaders. Right now they're at an all boys school and Gareth is trying to overcome all the prejudices about boys and singing and how it's not gay, honestly. (And seriously, if you thought American schoolboys were homophobic, wow. American kids would get kicked out of school for some of the things these British kids are saying.) Anyway, it's fun and heartwarming and I totally recommend it.
Desktop meme! I can't be bothered with the rules or whatnot, but here is what is currently my desktop wallpaper:
It's a photo of a sundial taken by
halowrites and I looooooove it. I like wallpapers that aren't too distracting, so I almost never have people or scenes or locations or anything like that. This is perfect because it's an interesting image and a gorgeous color, but it's not too distracting. I can still find all the icons on my desktop.
