so sweet, and yet a little angsty at the same time. The way you wrote it kept the pace very tight, and us in suspense. (:

I'm a football fan so i particularly liked this (: thanks for sharing! :D

Thank you! :D I had to write at least one football story, because it's my obsession - well, my other obsession! :)

I kind of don't get sports, like, at all, actually, but this made me smile. I loved the ending, and definitely let out a dreamy sigh when Quinn texted Sam before the game. It's too bad this version of Quinn is taken. And, you know, fictional. Minor detail.

I'm really glad it was good even if you don't get sports! :)

Pfft - fictional is just one more obstacle to overcome, if you ask me! :D

If I had read this 3 months ago, I would've been completely lost (along with perhaps a majority of the American population). However, my brief trip to Spain had served me well in terms of increasing my interest in football.

Now, armed with my newly acquired football knowledge, I could say that I fully appreciates the football reference and truly enjoyed reading this particular piece.

Woot.

Ooh, yes - Spain would be a great place to learn football! The second-best place in the world, in my humble opinion! :D

I'm so glad you enjoyed, and thanks so much for reading! :)
