I DO love the ending! I knew this was a human trafficking story, and I was curious as to how - if it would have been Russell, willingly. I like how you handled it, that it was supposedly an adoption (still bad, slightly less so than if he had just sold her into slavery). I also really like that you didn't account for the missing weeks, and there is still some sense of the unknown. A sequel is an EXCELLENT idea! You did a great job with this, and I hope you write more! Also, adoptive parents = E-V-I-L! That was a twist I was not expecting. Just, an all around great story, with just the right angst!

Interesting concept. I admit I haven't read all the fic yet but I've been taking a look at bits here and there.
