so i just had the most entertaining transit ride ever. meagan and i were riding the transit home, and this guy gets on the bus and sits behind me. at the donahue crossing stop, one of his lady friends gets on the bus and sits next him. suddenly the guy explodes into this intense conversation. and it goes something like this ..." so i've been dating my girlfriend for two weeks now and i told her i love her for the first time this weekend and she said it back! i want to spend the rest of my life with this girl! i'm so happy! i even gave up sex for her!"
at this point me and meagan look at each other from across the bus (because we are sitting on opposite sides) and try with all our strength and self control not to burst into laughter. we have to stop looking at each other and stare out the window to contain ourselves.
and the guy continues to go on ... "so i almost screwed it up by telling my girlfriend that other girls hit on me. she started crying and said she would have broken up with me if i was any other guy. that was the most scared i've ever been in my life!".
let me remind you that these people have been dating for TWO WEEKS.
i give them a month.
