Hello, dear readers, it is me in a rare post.
Well since the dust is supposedly settled from Eye a Fya ya yule (that's what I've settled on calling it), I am leaving Thursday for the big Magnetic Resonance conference in Stockholm, Sweden!
So despite being a bit nervous about the jet lag, and the lack of easy communication with my loved one back home, and the potential bigger volcano that may erupt, I'm kind of excited as it will be my first time in Europe since an 8th grade class trip to France and Switzerland.
So F-list! Any Scandinavian travelers have any advice on what to see or do? I'm at the conference by day, so any tourist jaunts must be only a couple hours and within train distance from central Stockholm.
I'm already going to a social at the Absolut Ice Bar, and a fancy reception at city hall- maybe the closest I'll ever get to a Nobel Prize banquet. Exciting!
