So, I'm really sick of being a crippled invalid! Does the EXCLAMATION POINT (!) MAKE IT SEEM CHEERY!?!
Everything I do, always, hurts. Breathing is labor. Sleeping is a semi-conscious battle.
I had to remind myself the other day that it will not be like this forever. That I will get better. This is the longest recovery from any wound or injury I've ever had, and because it's a core body injury, it effects everything I do. I am immobilized. My new state of well-being is : injured.
But one day it won't. I wish it was tomorrow.
