The Feminine Divine in Cross-Cultural Perspectives

Nov 21, 2006 02:40

...is a conference being held at NW Evanton 26-28th of this month. FYI to my pagan, feminist, somewhat pagan, somewhat feminist, ex-pagan, ex-feminist, anti-both and either, or just-kinda-curious friends.

http://www.religion.northwestern.edu/news/conference.html for info.

The full conference is $35, but it's free to see the evening presenters:

Sunday, 7:30 p.m. Alice Millar Chapel

Carol P. Christ, Ariadne Institute for the Study of Myth and Ritual
"The Last Dualism: Life and Death in Feminist Thealogy"

Monday, 7:30 p.m. Alice Millar Chapel

Starhawk, author and activist
"Goddesses for the End Times"

Give me a shout if you want to trek it out to my neck of the woods for this, and I might join you.

*Evidently, "thealogy" is not a misspelling of "theology", as I originally assumed. I learned something new today...
