It's Been A While...
Well, it's been about two weeks since my last entry. That's not too horrible for me, though...right? In any case, Valentine's Day wasn't so bad; between getting roses for all of my favorite COVE girls and a few
others and taking the ever-fabulous Nikki out to the Cheesecake Factory..err...Chilis, V-day was a good chance to show the people around me that I care about them, even if I did get rejected by a girl when I wasn't even trying. =^)
Jumping to the next weekend, I ended up going home for a part of it and spending time with some friends of mine and my family. I maintain that I spent an "enjoyable" amount of time with my family (meaning enough to
see them and not enough for them to drive me insane). Then I came back here to tons and tons and TONS of work.
Little things are keeping me together, however. Long chats with friends, a spontaneous cigar-smoking night with my best friend, and a couple of hours of karaoke with some stupendous singers. (Hooray for a great first singing meeting for FORKS.) Who know, maybe I will audition for the musical after all. But, that's in the future. Right now I have a presentation, a paper, a midterm, and a test to plan and study for. *GROAN*
The end, however, is in sight. This weekend will be so nice since I won't have anything due for most of the next week. Life will be calm again. But, for now, I'm still bogged down although I'm trying to go
with the flow. Soon I'll be able to relax, but until then, I'll try to keep my chin up.
