Capitol Hill High, Seeing Red: The Final Period
A campy romp through the social minefield of killer-infested Capitol Hill High, where the boys are mostly girls, the girls are plotting to rule the world, and there’s coffee mixed with the bloodstains. The fourth and final installment of Dan Dembiczak's snappy serial comedy finds the kids-at least those still alive-preparing for prom, with all the messy affairs and boyfriend swapping you’ll remember from earlier chapters. But with the bodies dropping like flies, who will be at the dance? And who is killing them anyway? And who is this “Mr. Buckles”? The show is built like a telenovela on jet fuel, with hyper-quick scenes and an infinitely twisty plot (the back of the program neatly brings you up to speed on the previous three episodes), full of hilarious one-liners, ridiculous situations, and saucy characters that you might just recognize if you live on the Hill. Lance is IM’ing Guy while dating rocker Elsa who’s fooling around with bi-flexible Red who just can’t seem to break up with the coolly pathological Jarles. Beatrice has her sticky fingers in everyone’s pie, but her nemesis is working with. . . Mr. Buckles? It’s all drama all the time with dates from hell, Psycho-style shower scenes, and just enough raunch to keep your attention. NEIL CORCORAN Ends June 30. 1621 12th Ave., 388-0500 $13-$15 Every week Friday, Saturday from Fri., June 15 until Sat., June 30, 7:30pm
