I have nothing to say about the windstorm...

Last weekend we had our first read-through of the Super Females! script. After reading it amongst ourselves for weeks as it progressed, Josh, Joel and I got to hear it out loud w/ voices other than our own. We got great feedback and I've made all kinds of revisions since. The three of us plotted the play, then I did the actual writing. It's not my original idea of parodying my favorite D-List female super heroes, but better: we made up our own and made the show a real BAPs experience.

We had a drag day, trying on wigs and costume pieces for the costumer. I may get a utility belt! :-) We also have an awesome light/sound designer, so we're definitely progressing now that BAPs is back to doing their own thing.

I got the Super Females! logo done, and Joel got it scanned for me (I'm techno-disabled) and now I can post it everywhere. I have 10 more pieces to finish for the cross-promotional art show at the U Village Starbucks in Jan. It features nameless super heroines running around in collage worlds.

I'm also working on the press release, casting, the website, we got a whole bunch of props and set pieces and press materials last weekend, too. I have one ad sold for the program, too. We've been working on rehearsal scheduling, budget, and the set. This is a crazy busy month, so that January will run smoothly-er. It takes super heroines to put together a show, letmetellya!
