I tried to buy a computer on Thursday. Really.
I say tried because the shop in Corstorphine had none of the one I settled on, apart from the example machine still on the shelf and advised against because of dust as they fix half the shop.
And because the one in Livingstone had two, as the nice assistant in Corstorphine confirmed before sending us there, but they've already had Windows 7 loaded onto them and it goes on sale in a week's time so they can't sell them until then.
Apparently I've stumbled onto the worst week to buy a new PC in about two years. Which was nice.
