So, the Beeb's third genre launch in two months, Survivors. Surprisingly not the most depressing of them (step forward Apparitions) although even the comedy relief is in tears before the end of episode two. Julie Graham gets another shot at genre heroics after BONekicKERS, Paterson Joseph is more convincingly steely-eyed and dashing than Max Beesley, Zoe Tapper looks fetching in practical outdoor clothing and lots of people from new Who die in the first episode. I'll carry on watching.

Also, the last song played before the end of humanity is Talk Show Host by Radiohead. Which is nice.
