WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW, BIG UPDATE HERE
Ok so several things have been going very right lately. This will actually be a fun band update rather than the usual ones where i say "so and so screwd us over, blah blah blah, boo hoo"
SHOWS SOON
We're bring a temporary guitar player on board until we figure out what the situation is with a potential new lead player in mid-may. we're just doing this so we can start playing out sooner and making a name for ourselves as soon as possible. We've decided to give first dibs at this slot to my friend Rick, who i was in a band called Emisphere with before i co-founded this band with Justin.
We're going with him so that 1. he can cover rhythm duties while i do leads temporarily, and 2. there are a lot of assholes in the pittsburgh scene (concert promoters and such, i won't name names) who won't let a band with members under 21 play at their clubs. Now, i'm all for obeying the laws, and i understand that i can't drink in public till i'm 21, but COME ON. to say that i'm not even allowed to be in the same building as alcohol is kinda rediculous. Anyway, to work around this unnecessairily stupid hurdle, I've decided that if he chooses to do so, Rick will also serve as a backup guitar player in the event that I can't play a show due to my age. It's gayer than two men in scarves and pink shirts making out on a park bench, but hey what can you do?

HELP US GET ON WARPED TOUR IN PITTSBURGH
that's right, we're gonna take a run at the warped tour in pittsburgh this year. Please go to this site, and tell EVERYBODY YOU KNOW to go to that site as well. We need to spread the word about this as much as humanly possible. Try to listen to both songs the entire way through, because that is the only way it can count as a "listen". Don't bother doing multiple listens of both songs too, it'll only let you listen to each of the two songs per day. we're currently ranked number 27 in PA, out of something like 400 bands, and have moved to that number in only like 4 days, which is pretty incredible. Anyway, we'd like to get as high on the rankings as possible, so any help at all is gonna be greatly appreciated. Site is at:

WE WERE EVEN ABLE TO REACH NUMBER 7 IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY A FEW DAYS AGO!!!!!
that was so awesome, and it turned a terrible day into an incredible day, it also opened up some doors for the band...
LABEL SHOWCASES ARE LINED UP FOR AUGUST! HOLY CRAP!
I guess because of the above mentioned thing, we received an email the same night inviting our band to a label showcase in cleveland on august 24th. Now, at first i was like ok, cool, there are gonna be a few indie labels, maybe a record station or two. NO NO NO, i was way off, there are some BIG NAMES that are gonna be down there, such as:
-Atlantic Records
-Sony Records
-Jive Records
-Island/Def Jam Records
-TVT Records
wow............ wow. that's all i can say right now. we're gonna be playing two songs for them, and then talking with them afterwards. who knows, this whole record deal that i've been dreaming of for the majority of my life might be happening sooner than i thought it would be... we'll see.
