Daily Blog

So I told Greg last night that I had decided to do a daily blog again, and he rolled his eyes at me. He'll get over it.

I decided last night to do a pounding workout in the pool, and I am feeling it today, believe me. I weighed myself last night, and I have gained almost 10 pounds, so back on the diet train. Plus, I guess taking the winter off of exercizing didn't help, either. Really, the way I see things is that ever since I started eating meat again, I have been feeling crappy, bloated, and not satisfied when I eat, and I really believe that eating meat is bad karma, but I need to somehow tell that to Greg's parents who cook dinners at the house half of the time. I don't want to be rude and not eat what they have made for dinner, but it really is starting to bother me.

Oh, also on my way to work today, I decided to make a list here about the things that I am upset about, and I think should be changed, but I never really have the energy to fight for them. So here it goes....

1. McDonalds Shamrock Shakes are only available during late February and until St. Patrick's Day. WTF!?!?!?! WE WANT THEM ALL YEAR LONG, DAMNIT!!!!

2. I am all for taking the rainbow back. I have a rainbow tattooed on my wrist, because they are awesome and I like them because they are beauty after a storm. But people see it and assume that I am a lesbian. Nothing against people that live alternative lifestyles BUT I JUST FUCKING LIKE RAINBOWS!!!! We want the rainbow back, DAMNIT!!

3. Dumpster diving should be legalized. I mean come on. All that we are doing when we grab stuff out of dumpsters is preventing it from cluttering up the landfills and recycling it into something that someone could use. Why, then, is this against the law? What is the logic in that?

4. Men that keep setting up "franchises" of children, and never pay child support for any of them, should be made to have a government mandated vasectomy. My ex has on child with me, one child before he met me, twins with another woman after we divorced, and is not dating a 17 year old that called me last night to inform me that she is pregnant. AND HE CAN'T EVEN SUPPORT THE KIDS THAT HE ALREADY HAS!!!!!!!!!

OK, I think that is enough for today. I think after work I am going to drop Evan off with his SOB dad,go and do a light swim, then sew my little brain away until I get too tired to sew anymore, then go to bed watching House of 1000 Corpses. Sounds like a good night.

But I figured, today would be a good day to try to turn that trend around. I decided this as I was running out to warm up my car in my pajamas and robe this morning. Now this would be a normal day occurrence to anyone that lives in a climate that calls for you to warm up the engine of your car prior to peeling away to work in the morning. What is not normal is the attire that I sprint outside in every morning. I really wonder what the neighbors think when they see me with my white and black hair all messy from rolling out of bed with my bright pink robe on with the big monkey heads all over it, bare legs (because at this hour of the morning, I most likely do not even think of throwing on pants, forgetting that my legs are like a forest of hair, again, because of my laziness....) and my Sketchers Mary Janes on hurtling out the door every morning at 5:45. It really makes me laugh. Then, about 20 minutes later, I come out the door with Evan, all dressed up nice to work. Jekyll and Hyde, I guess.

Other then that, the major things that have been keeping me busy are wedding stuff, Evan, Swimming, and Sewing.

Wedding Stuff= We are now almost a year away. Why am I starting planning you say?!?! Well, because in my crafty little brain, I have decided that every single aspect of this shin-dig will be done by hand by yours truly. Greg thinks I am biting off more then I can chew, and like always he is most likely right, but what the hell, I can give it my best shot, right?? I mean, how hard can it be.... ;) Our bedroom is stacked with boxes full of mismatched bud vases for the reception, and bunches of daisies in hundreds of colors. I have found most of this at The Salvation Army or on 50% off at Hobby Lobby. My dress is bought, and is chillin' at my mom's house. I am having a hard time finding paper that I like for the invites, which are going to take me forever, but I posted a ? on YA, and that has helped me out some.

Evan= Is driving me nuts. He proclaimed at the Easter table his wishes that I bite him. That bought him the rest of the night up in his room. Greg and I have come to the conclusion that his behavior is stemmed from his father's letting him watch R rated movies while he is at his house. I am sorry, but who does not understand that a 6 year old cannot watch movies like Saw and Jackass and not be damaged....gggrrrrr.... He is getting better, for the past 2 days, but the question of when his 21st birthday is (which is when I told him he would be ungrounded) has been asked about 500000 times.

Swimming= Yes, I am back at swimming my laps, like the exercising good girl that I am....lol. I am starting to feel better, and more in shape after taking almost the whole winter off. Now my problem is that with Greg doing homework for college at night, I am having a hard time fitting it in every day. I wish the pool was open at 4am like my old one was....

Sewing= YAY!! My mommy decided to give me her never used sewing machine, which is SO much better then the 60 year old antique that I got from my grandma. It broke my heart to use the old one, because it is a family heirloom, and I was using it to stitch up black and pink skull and crossbones garters. Now I have a SUPER Singer, and I have been sewing away. It is even easy enough for Evan to learn on, and he made his first reconstructed shirt this weekend, complete with fluorescent skull on the front, and brown sleeves.... Me, I am currently working on garters for my friend, my garters, a Social D reconstruct dress, cherry pillows and stuff, and also, me and my friend Pryncess Payne are looking to start a little business to make clothing and accessories for the fashion retarded. lol. That is just too much fun!!!
