Accidental video post: The silence gets to you...

[The PCD is switched on by something falling and hitting it, then bouncing off. Tanith is sitting by what appears to be the kitchen table in her loft, the PCD on a chair next to her and a mess of parts on the table. On closer look, she appears to be working on an old and broken pair of rollerskates, painstakingly cleaning and gluing them together. Right now, she has stopped and is staring into space. Though the light is too dim to really make out, her face is twisted as though she's trying to stop herself whimpering.

She raises one hand to her mouth and bites down on it hard.]

I broke it oh drats I just know I did...

Why is this city so big...

Twenty-one more fixes and I don't know how I...

... Jin, why aren't you here? I need you... Lea, Miles, anyone.

This isn't my field at all...

[She breathes in around her hand then drops it to her side and leans over to retrieve whatever had fallen next to the PCD, which is when she notices it recording. After an instant's dismay, her face changes - she smiles, not merely a brave face, but a real, genuine attempt to pull herself together and gather her optimism. A little flushed from embarrassment, she waves at the PCD.]

Sorry for the display, I just... I think I need sugar. A lot of sugar.

[She sniffles and blinks, then shrugs, smiles again in apology and switches off the feed.]
