How do you know?

I have a talent for Finding things. When I focus on the notebook, there's still a signal.

Then how do you know that they even had the right notebook in the first place?

I'm rather sure they tested what they got.

What is to say that what they received was not merely tweaked to appear real?

I can't quite imagine how you fake a notebook to appear to kill people.

Well, how do you use it? You write down a name on the paper, correct?

Logically it could be faked if you took pages from the original.

Hrm... can that be made to look seamless? Paper is such a messy medium... it sounds possible. They could have been tricked, themselves.

... that isn't a good thing.

It is possible if the person spends enough time preparing it. It happens when priceless items are taken out of books and then replaced.

If they were also tricked then this has done nothing but lull everyone into a false sense of security.

Yes - but not anymore. That is why I called it out.

It doesn't make me trust Celestial Being any better.

I don't think many people trust them from the start.
