The Triskelion, New York City, Wednesday morning

"What's the word, Chief?" Jessica asked as she walked into Executive Director Carol Danvers' office.

"I really would prefer you stop calling me that, Agent Drew," Danvers said with a small sigh.

"Sorry, boss. What's up?" Jessica amended before taking a seat.

"I have an assignment for you," Danvers said, ignoring the continued nicknaming. Even with SHIELD training, Jessica wasn't a soldier and she'd never be one. She had grown to accept a casual lack of respect for authority, but she wasn't thrilled about it.

"Do I finally get to do crazy and wild Ultimate-y stuff with Cap and everyone?" Jessica checked.

"No, not yet," Danvers said. "You've read some of Reed Richards' work before he went completely off the deep end, right? Other dimensions, parallel worlds, that kind of thing?"

"Yeah. One time he found a world just like ours, but everyone was older and zombies," Jessica said. "Please tell me you're not sending me to zombie world."

"Worse," Danvers warned. "You're going back to high school."

That actually kept Jessica quiet for a few moments. "Is it too late to go to Zombie World?"
