MCA #8, Sunday evening
After a week of heavy science and fighting disturbingly enhanced super soldiers, Jessica was ready to just relax and watch something that was separate from basically all of her interests. Hi, Oscars! She had seen exactly none of the nominated movies this year and was actually behind on last year's movies, too. So she was in it to look at pretty people, see people discuss surprisingly weighty topics for a movie awards show, and complain about how long the show ran.
And maybe, in between the kind of interesting things, she would text people. Pepper was officially a person she texted now. They had bonded last week thanks to Tony's poor life choices. And Jessica needed to know if different universes meant different nominations, because it would be weird if all the changes between worlds still led to exactly the same movies being nominated for exactly the same awards.
Also, "Is it really not starting until 8:30 there, too? Why not start at 8? It's going to last 5 hours. Give us that half hour back!"
Jessica had her complaints already.
