The Excitement! Okay, so I wanted to go to Victoria, BC, last fall, but had wretched-bad feelings about actually going.
Thea Dueck, founder of
The Victoria Sampler, my favorite cross-stitch design supplier, designed a Twelve Days of Christmas sampler/ornaments last year. And it was offered at a class in Victoria, exclusively. (This is why I wanted to go.) As I was one of the voices begging her to design such a critter initally, I was crushed when I couldn't attend the class, and started begging for release of the pattern, or, even better, a Cyberclass. (The VS Cyberclasses are *wonderful*. I got through two of the "elements" - Earth and Fire - with a Cyberclass, and was able to get through Air myself. I just have to find Water in my house... (yeah, yeah, another pipe will now break).
Anyway, this morning, I got an e-mail from Thea letting me know that (YAY!) the
Twelve Days of Christmas Cyberclass was available for sign-up. I didn't even have to think about it, and felt Quite Noble for not ordering any yarn from the Netherlands this morning - since I really needed the money to sign up for the Cyberclass. Because the pattern isn't published, the whole kit will be sent to me (in one to two weeks!), *plus* I get the Cyberclass with Wendy (who's just amazing).
Have I mentioned the squealing? There's lots of squealing going on over here!
♥Yay!♥
