Costume opinions needed

I would really like to make the Joker Costume for the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight for nick this year. I think he would look great in it.

My question.  Too soon or weird because Heath Ledger died?

Oh, and the makeup may be easily achieved with a combination of latex putty and rigid colloidian.




That's a built up look using putty




thats a more pitted, puckered or "recessed" scar using colloidian. A combo of the two will probably work well.
