Renfaire of Rassilon?

So ... my sister wanted a medieval prom dress, and I was taking a metalworking class, so I decided to make some belts to go with it. We were trying to decide what to go in the central piece. I had suggested our family coat of arms but she thought it was too boring. She hasn't seen classic Who, but she's familiar with the Seal of Rassilon from the hat that I made, so when I said I might try that, she said sure. So if going to the prom in a medieval-ish dress wasn't nerdy enough, it now comes with extra Doctor Who fandom added!

EDIT-- wow! I'm glad so many people like this. Unfortunately I won't be able to take commissions for belts like this; I have a lot of projects lined up already. Thanks though!

the belt is made from copper cutouts soldered to stainless steel, with a twisted copper wire border soldered around the edge of each piece.

and the whole dress. That's not my sister modeling it here -- I showed it in a fashion show at school and right now we're at opposite ends of the country so I asked a friend to wear it.
