On the fifth day of Christmas...
Along comes the most loved scarf in history. The chart for the Fourth Doctor differs a little from my stitched piece. When I stitched mine I was convinced that Tom Baker always wore jeans tucked into knee high boots but I’ve recently watched a couple of episodes from his era and there were no boots to be seen. The same when I doublechecked by looking at costume images online. Perhaps it was just one very memorable episode that stuck in my brain or perhaps I’m confused and I was the one wearing jeans and boots while watching the original episodes. If only I had a Tardis, I could go back in time to check the facts.
BTW when I stitched this Doctor, I did Velvet Stitch for his hair and it gives a lovely curly finish. There are plenty of instructions online if you want to try it for yourself. :-D
