My customized actionfigures were shown on the US-TV show "The Morning Blend" on 12th of June 2012

I hope you forgive me a bit of boasting but my customized action figures where shown in the US TV this week. John and Carole Barrowman were guests at "The Morning Blend" and that's when they were mentioned. I feel very honored

Oh yes it does! I still can't quite believe it.
Wonder if he will recognize me next Sunday, if he comes out after the London concert?

I hope he does! I know he must meet a lot of people, but not everyone makes customised action figures of him and his sister!

Do you mind if I ask your advice? Yesterday, I got two Captain Jack action figures at a summer fair, they're the first I've come across. They are the Doctor Who version and are mosltly identical, but one doesn't look too well, his skin is rather grayish. What would you recommend to give him a healthier complexion?

I know a few people whom he always recognizes, so I think he must be good with faces. I couldn't do it with so many people!

Oh! Hm. Painting the face is always the most complex and difficult thing, and I try to avoid it. But if you want to, best go to a crafts store where they sell enamel paint for models, like ships or planes, that's what I use. They also have skintones for figures.

With Doctor Who version, do you mean the one in the coat? I like his face very well. I don't like the Torchwood version much, that is the one with rolled up shirt sleeves, either in light or dark blue shirt. His eyes are somehow crossed, and the facial expression is also weird.

Or do you mean the one from the first series, with the flight suit?

They're both wearing flight suits. I bought both because I figured they'd be company for each other until I manage to get a Ianto, lol!

Thanks, there are a couple of hobby stores in town, maybe I'll take both Jacks with me and try to find a paint that matches the healthy looking one! I don't know what could have happened to the other one to make him look so unwell.

LOL well if he did fly a few loopings and other crazy stuff, like John describes in his book when he went with that RAF plane, I can understand him being a little green in the face ;)

You always could make a story with Jack meeting himself from a different timeline... Just you wait, once you have them, you want to play with them. I once read a fanfiction where Jack had sex with himself. And when it happened again and he experienced it from the other perspective, he remembered how he had felt back then when he was younger. Very weird idea but also faszinating.

At the moment they're sitting quietly side by side, but I have no idea what they get up to when I'm asleep! I'm sure Jack would be happy to play with himself though ;)
