Hello, Fellow Crafty people!

I am having a problem with a costume that I am designing for this year’s Fan Expo in Toronto. It’s in August, so no rush, but I would like to get this done before July ends to be on the safe side, and give me a chance to practice wearing it.

I was planning to make a weeping angel too but Toronto's FanExpo is over croweded and I was afraid of over heating and breaking the costume.

Have you tried looking at the Replica Prop Forum? There are a few tutorials on there.

Here are some websites I found there:

Ooh, Penwiper was just the person I was thinking of! Glad that the breakdown has been made available outside LJ, because it's brilliant.

Must check those out, Thanks! Oh, and I don't think that you would over heat in it, as the arms are bare, and if you did it in a light weight fabric, like a broadcloth, you should be fine. I went last year as a Jawa, and it was just a little hot, with the hood up.

I over heat a lot more than others. I have constantly sweaty hands and feet so if I went with paint it would just get everywhere. Also if I went with the pantyhose version I would over heat for sure.
