Scarf, key, and Halloween costume!

I finally finished my scarf (Knitting part) on October 22, exactly ten months from when I started knitting it. I did the tassels and stuff, made the key, and I was set for my Halloween costume! (FYI, I made the scarf to use normally, not for Halloween. People keep thinking I did it for Halloween.)
Except for some teachers, friends, and family, no one knew who I was (or even asked) during Halloween, when I wore it to school, and when I went to see "Paranormal Activity" yesterday (Let me tell you, having a super long scarf when watching a creepy movie like that helps!)
Anyway, I was disappointed, but I found out when I wore my scarf to school that my creative writing teacher was a fan (Which is why when I brought it to school (Not wearing it, just in a bag to show off) he recommended I wear it with my shirt on Thurs (Last school day before Halloween) and that one of my schools library workers son goes to an engineering school where they are trying to knit the longest Doctor Who scarf ever! That is so cool. Anyway enough of my stupid babble no one probably cares about, here are the photos!

Here is my costume. (Sorry for the bad photoshop job. I only have Elements at this time and all I have is the eraser and Lasso tool. Plus, I do not want to show my face.)

I found the perfect hat for the costume (In corner), and the rest is clothing I either had or my Mom had.

I made the key out of polymer clay, and it was perfect until I put the stupid special paint I bought on. It either had to dry for 21 days or get put into the oven after 48 hours. I was an idiot and forgot polymer clay can not exceed 275 degrees, the paint get's put in at 325. Thus I ruined the shape (It got all bubbly, stretched and warped as you can see)
X/ I'm such an idiot.

Anyway, a separate photo of the scarf:

Even though it's 2-4 inches wider than it's supposed to be, and has a few mistakes, I still love it. ^_^
PS. To all you knitters making the scarf, if you don't have a crochet hook and don't want to/can't buy one, use a paper clip. If used right, it makes a good tool to do the tassels. And if your following the doctor who scarf.com www.doctorwhoscarf.com/ instructions measure the width with a ruler when adding on stitches! If I did that it wouldn't of been to wide for me.
