First handspun
I finished my first handspun. This pic shows it partially spun, with the original color of the batting.
I was not hugely fond of the colorway...
...So I decided to overdye it with Kool Aid and Wilton's coloring. Here it is presoaking so the dye would absorb evenly.
I used Kool Aid Pink Lemonaid and Berry Blue,and Wilton's Violet.
The pink was not as bright as I wanted, so I added just a bit of Kool Aid Strawberry, but this turned it red.
I dyed it single-ply, and plyed it after dying.
I am calling it "Fiesta."
