It seems I will be working in NYC for the next several weeks. Got here yesterday. Never been here before.
Initial thoughts:
Expensive lodging.
Great food.
Interesting place.
Any advice for places to see, eat, things to do?

You might be able to ask the hotel where to get cheap tickets for shows. I highly recommend Blue Man Group.

Had really good Cuban food last night just off of Union Square and then walked several blocks (north and east) to an Italian bakery where I had the best cheesecake ever. The client liaison is playing tour guide for us.
I am working at Lexington and 52nd if that helps.
So far, this is a blast. I already figured out part of navigating the subway (at least enough to get back to my hotel).
I definitely want to take a weekend and play tourist while I am here.
