Do you have a calendar? If “YES”, where is it hung? I have a Page A Day Bad Cat calendar that Mike bought me sitting on my kitchen counter.
What’s for dinner tonight? (Share a recipe) Gobble-Gook. 2-3 lbs ground beef or turkey. ½ cup turkey or beef stock. ½ stick of butter. 1 heaping teaspoon of garlic. 1 med-lrg onion. 1 Green and 1 Red pepper. 1 large can of tomato puree or crushed tomatoes. 1 to 1 ½ cups of minute rice. Put a large skillet over med/high heat, melt butter, toss in garlic and chopped peppers & onion, sautee’ until peppers and onion start to soften. Add meat and brown. Push all ingredients to the sides of the pan creating a well in the middle for the “juice” to collect. Add stock, add rice slowly to equal the amount of liquid. Pour in tomatoes. Stir, turn temp to med low, and let heat through. Give the rice 5-10 minutes to plump up, if it still appears soupy, add more rice. Serve with salsa, cheese, sour cream, or anything else you can think of. (My husband likes to add mushrooms) Prep to finish takes about 45 minutes and it’s a dish that’s better the second day.

If you were abandoned in the wilderness, would you survive? Only if a nice pack of wolves takes pity on me.
Are you flexible? Physically, not really. Emotional, kind of.
Do you feel you are being paid a fair wage for what you do? No.
When you have a list of chores to do, do you start or finish with the one you like the least? I always start with the hardest task or the least favorite.
Do you fold your socks and underwear? Or, are they just tossed in the drawer? Oh please, they never make it out of the laundry basket.
How often to you clean under your bed? Once, maybe twice, a year. Whenever my black & white kitty comes out gray.
Are you done Christmas shopping? I don’t do Christmas.
How do you feel about your hair? I like my new short, sassy cute.
If you could change your MIDDLE name, what would it be? Nicole or Jordan.
Do you prefer kissing or holding hands? Holding hands.
Are things getting easier as you get older? No. And it’s pissing me off.
Will you/do you teach your own children about abstinence or birth control? I don’t have kids. But, I think it’s important to teach responsibility. And that should include talking about both options.
How many days after you develop a cold do you go to the doctors? I wouldn’t go to the doctor for just a cold.
Do you still check out your ex’s MYSPACE page? I don’t MySpace. But, I have been known to go snooping on people that do.
Do you believe that the attacks on Sept 11th, 2001 were part of a government conspiracy? Conspiracy? No. Unbelievable stupidity? Maybe.
Did you ever try to lick your elbow? Yes. When I was kid and they told me it was impossible, I had to try.
Do you prefer True Blood or Twilight? I never read either series of books, but I did watch True Blood and loved it. From what I’ve been told, it doesn’t stick to the books. Haven’t seen Twilight yet and I’m not making any plans to see it.
What was the last thing you did that gave you a headache? Came to work.
Did you ever miss the other person’s hand in a high-five? Yes. Mike and I miss all the damn time.
If a girl gets pregnant, does the boy have the right ask her to have an abortion? If she refused, should he still be liable for child support? He has the right to ask, but not to demand. And if she refuses, yes he still has to pay support. He’s choice was at the beginning when he decided to have sex.
Can you hoola hoop? Not well.
What song do you listen to when you’re angry? If I’m trying to calm down, I’ll put on some good ol’ Dr. Demento or “Weird” Al to feel better. If I want to stay angry - metal.
If it wasn’t illegal to be nude in public, would you take advantage of the freedom? Yes. And that would be proving that adage that most people who go naked in public are people you wouldn’t want to see naked.
If you could find one thing in your grandparent’s attic (other than money), what would you hope to find? I would love to find journals. I wasn’t close to one set of grandparents. And the other set - my grandfather passed away when I was young and my grandmother suffered from dementia. So I never got to know them
