Not much to report.
Summer has hit us like a ton of bricks. I tried to avoid turning on the AC, but today was just too rough. It's been on for about and hour, and already it feels a lot less miserable. It's finally cool enough for me to get some cleaning done! My place is such a mess, and I've been meaning to get around to it for a while now. It's just hard to focus on a task like that when you feel so lethargic.
In a new endeavor, I picked up a harmonica. Nothing fancy. Just an $8 Key of C Pocket Pal. I've never really played. As a kid, I would just blow on them to annoy anyone within range. I figured it'd be a little tough to get the knack of, but I'm already getting a good sound out of it. Finally! A musical instrument that doesn't make me feel stupid! Can't wait to take it with me camping. I've already memorized how to play kum-ba-yah for the camp-fire.
I also picked up a crochet book. Not that I really need any more how-to books. This one just has a lot of unique blocks and motifs, many of which I've never seen before! While I can whip up some cool stuff for an afghan, I want to try something really impressive.
If it weren't for the heat and humidity, summer would be my favorite season! Man, my hair is frizzy today. Looks like someone inflated my hair.
