Few summer dresses
Summer is not over yet, right?
I did not plan to make it. But we saw a summer dress in one of those little stores in downtown and my husband liked it. I could not bring myself to pay $270 for this kinda dress,
so I made it
This is the pattern I used (with some modifications).
I saw tons of long fitted dresses last summer, but never had time (what was I doing?!) to make one. This season I made two! Simply could not choose what fabric I liked the most (pretty good reason, right?)
Pattern. Highly recommend it, the back is made out of two pieces so it follows your body shape very nicely.
I bought this fabric three years ago, finally it turned into a dress. I am not sure I will use it as a summer dress regularly, for me it looks more like a resort kinda dress. Well, my husband disagree... so, we will see, it is still 1 month and a half left ;) . Pattern is shown above.
All fabrics (except the last one) and all the patterns are bought in my local ARC second hand shop.
