=D Thank you! I've worked on this project on and off and had a few commissions in between to repeat several of them instead of moving on down the dinasty, but, from the first (Anne Boleyn) to the last (Edward), approx. 2 and a half years. Thank heavens I'm stubborn! lol
=D Thank you so much! Oh, yes, I am VERY proud of them! <3 The Tudors were the ruler by which I measured the progress of my skill, so they're extra special to me!
I love, love love your dolls. They would make awesome illustrations for a children's history book. But maybe I'm one of the few people out there who could recite "Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived" and "Katherine, Anne, Jane, Anne, Catherine, Katherine" before they were 10.
=D <3<3<3<3 Thank you so much! I don't think I would have kept going through the years if it wasn't for my stubbornness AND all the amazing support I got from fellow LJers!
I love this! Your dolls are so beautiful and adorable. Mary Stuart is a cutie in that pink. Robert Dudley is a handsome fellow! I love the beard you put on him. I actually laughed out loud! hahaha Anne Boleyn... not haha at her death, but at the way you presented it. How long does each doll take you to make?
It really depends. I've made 7 Anne Boleyns so far and have her details pretty much nailed, so I can make one on a day off. An Elizabeth I, since her gowns are way more complex, can take about a week if my jobs' schedules aren't FUBARed.
These are all completely adorable and amazing! Very nicely done! I can't imagine all the time it took to hand bead all of those, and yet you have a great eye for spacing all those beads.
