holy sweet find batman! my best so far is an antique skein winder(hand made) at a barn sale for $35(i think). it is old enough to have wood gears and is perfect for winding skeins right off of the plying head of my lendrum wheel.

and your cat is a twin of my maine coon! i swear, they are identical! that is just amazing. both the cat and the sewing machine!
