Update of sorts.
I got the Livejournal app for the iphone, but since you can't read your friend's posts I hardly ever use it. It's also a huge pain in the ass trying to type out a blog entry on that tiny little keyboard. I pretty much just use my twitter now to keep people updated. My twitter name is Zophael if anyone is that interested. If not, I don't blame you. I'm pretty boring most of the time.
My sister had her baby last night and I was not up at the hospital. Why? Because instead of calling John's phone like my mom and everyone else on the planet does because they know mine is not usually around me, she called my phone, left a message and when she didn't get a response, decided not to do anything else until the baby was born. Then she called my phone again, left a message, and went on home. Apparently it wasn't that important to get a hold of me. I'll make sure to remember that the next time something is going on with John and I.
I called her and told her I was pretty unhappy, but I don't think she really got it. I don't get genuinely upset very often though so it could have just been that she was surprised at my showing of unhappiness. I don't get mad very often though and I think that's probably the way to go. If I got mad all of the time then people wouldn't be as taken aback when I do get mad.
I've started making a very small amout of money off of my writing. I hope to get more time to make more money, but until the new house is all done, I doubt that I'll have much time for anything. I'm also waiting to sell my Macbook in order to get a netbook since I could use something smaller. I don't really want a laptop that does a lot so I would like to downgrade and then have a little extra pocket money.
John is supposed to be home soon and then we'll be heading on up to the hospital to visit Kandi. I offered to watch the kids for them, but they didn't really seem interested so it looks like a free night for me is most likely in the cards.
