Tonight's menu at my house will consist of the following.
Appetizer:
Garlic crostini topped with serrano ham, riccotta pecorina cheese, and a dash of french grey salt.
Main course:
Chicken tikka masala over seasoned basmati rice.
Dessert:
Black mission fig compote with toasted pine nuts and and raw honey.
I got the cooking bug today. It happned at the farmer's market, a little stoned, looking at all the fresh ingredients and letting my mind wander. It's not too often that I actually get in the mood to cook this much, or this fancy. I must be starting to break through the depression a bit if I want to cook again.
Score one for me.
