Well I have some good news today. My mom woke me up at like 9 this morning telling me to get ready because we're gonna be going out looking for a car to buy. I took a shower and drank some coffee and ate some cherioes. My grandma came by and picked us up and off we went. We drove and drove and drove for about 5 hours looking for a car to buy off of someone. My mom only had a budget of 3,000 dollars and my mom wanted to make sure she liked what she bought and she wanted to make sure it was good on gas. Our first consiteration was this Oldsmobile we found that only cost 2600. The problem was those things hog up gas so we decided against it. We came across a grand am that looked really crappy and was really nasty on the inside. We saw a hole in it that looked like a bullet hole. The guy that was sellin it was a bad lookin guy with tatoos all over his arms and stuff and he was trying to tell us that it was his grandma's and she lost her vision and can't use the car anymore. Yeah right... while we were looking at that car this other guy walked up to us and said he was sellin a car just like it at his house. So we went to his garage and saw his peice of crap he was trying to sell. He said it had not been running in 3 years. We said no on that one. My mom saw this saturn that was a couple years old and was only 1650. It looked like it was in pretty good shape and was a nice blue color and my mom really really liked it a lot. Then to her greif she saw that it was in fact a stick shift. My poor mom was heartbroken after she figured that out. So we ended up finding this 2002 dodge neon that was going for 3500. This was out of my mom's price range so my mom had to haggle with the guy. She got it down to 3100. So my mom still owes this guy some money. Its not the best car in the world it being a neon, but it will get my mom to and from work which is the only thing she needs it for. The only things that are wrong with it is that there are a LOT of miles on it, but neons are known to last a while. It has 1 broken headlight and the tired should be replaced. Nothing else is really wrong with it. My mom is satisfied with it but she just does not like how much she spent on it. I am really glad our prayers have been answered.
